Bourne War Memorial Gardens

Today has been another gorgeous day, it seems like we skipped spring and jumped straight to summer (yes, please).  The Boss Toddler was ecstatic when I told her that, I am taking her to see the ducks and swans at Bourne War Memorial Gardens.

Bourne War Memorial Gardens  commemorated 96 names of those who lost their lives in the First World War, and 32 for the Second World War. There are also 3 names commemorated from subsequent conflicts and one soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on this War Memorial.

It is a very well kept place with pretty flower beds, willows and river full of ducks and swans.  Many people come to this place to feed the ducks, wander around or just relax and watch the world go by or watch the little ones winning some new friends and chase the ducks together.  Olivia is one of those kids!
